Celebrate Mother’s Day with a Fool-Proof Menu

Mother’s Day has been celebrated in the United States for over 100 years as a way of honoring the sacrifices the mom in your life makes.  We love Mother’s Day, and what is a better way to celebrate the holiday than to make your Mother breakfast?

To get you started, we went ahead and made a Mother’s Day menu for your Mom—all you have to do is get cooking! Make this Mother’s Day extra special by serving Mom breakfast in bed!

CELEBRATE EARTH DAY!

It is important to celebrate the Earth for many reasons.  It provides us with a place to live and food to eat. The world does a lot for us, so today (and everyday!) is our chance to give back to the Earth. Here are some easy solutions to reduce waste and keep our Earth clean from our spring “Green” issue.

WHAT WE LOVE: SPIRALIZING

Spiralizing is the art of turning vegetables or fruits into noodles. This process is made simple by an inexpensive kitchen tool called the spiralizer. It works kind of like a pencil-sharpener, and you’re left with noodle-shaped produce.  We love pasta, but spiralizing vegetables (or fruits) is a tasty alternative!

ChopChop Curriculum: In the Classroom

Did you know that millions of people read ChopChop all over the world? These people all use the magazine in a lot of different ways: from cooking at home, to teaching cooking classes, and also using it at school!

We have recently introduced ChopChop Curriculum—the perfect tool for integrating ChopChop in the classroom (or after school program!). Our curriculum features classroom activities, printables, and lessons in math, science, ELA, and social studies. The curriculum is adaptable to fit the needs of any classroom.
