ChopChop Magazine, a nonprofit quarterly food magazine for kids aged 5-12 and their families, has been named a winner of a 2013 Parents’ Choice Magazine Award (Gold).Jessica Hensley, writing on the Parents’ Choice Foundation website, praises the magazine: “ChopChop's mission is to ‘inspire and teach kids to cook and eat real food with their families.’ With a healthy dose of delicious recipes, fun facts about food and cooking, and a format that is very easy for kids to follow, they are clearly succeeding.”
Established in 1978, Parents’ Choice Foundation has been reviewing and recommending children’s media to provide parents with reliable and unbiased information about high quality products. The awards are determined by a panel of educators, scientists, artists, librarians, parents, and children.
