A smoothie is like a cool breeze—just right for a hot day! Most store-bought smoothies are too high in sugar. But if you make one yourself using real fruit and plain real yogurt, it's a super-healthy drink that's also a great snack.
Sharp Knife (adult needed)
- Put the coconut water (or tap water) and yogurt in a blender, then add the fruit and ice cubes. Add the pecans (or almonds or walnuts) if you like.
- Put the top on tightly. Turn the blender to medium and blend until the ice is chopped and the mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Serve right away or cover and refrigerate up to 4 hours.
